Interior of a single level house
The watercolor is an overhead view of the interior of a one-level home. The exterior is brick and siding, and there is a garage at the far end of the house. The rooms include a living rom, dining room, kitchen, den, bathroom, single bedroom, and master bedroom with a sitting room.
Interior of a two-story home
The watercolor shows the upstairs of a house in the upper half of the work, and the downstairs rooms in the lower half of the work. A small portion of the exterior of the house can be seen, indicating that it is made of stone and has a weather vane on the chimney.
Interior of the ground level of a house
The watercolor shows an overhead view of the interior of the ground level of a house. The rooms include a living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer, den and library. In the lower right hand corner the student has drawn a front view of the front exterior of the house.
Interiors. Emotional Responses.
On cover, by designer's name, "Color space theory." Twelve work stapled together with a gray top and bottom cardboard cover with the title and author information in black type. Each work analyzed separately and the call numbers range from BC-0378A through BC-0378L. Twelve works bound together. The first is a floor plan with color samples taped to the inside front cover. The second shows a color wheel, and the remaining works show photographs of a style of interior with a corresponding color sample representation provided by the designer.

The first (A) drawing has the Institute's name and address on it and is of the first floor. It shows the location of: the main entrance; the vestibule; four drafting rooms; corridors; and the stairwell. The second drawing (B) shows the second floor, including: four drafting rooms; corridors; an office; student storage areas; a closet; a bathroom labeled Men; and a restroom labeled Women. The third drawing (C) shows the third floor, including: the staircase, a large lecture room; storage closets; a storage room; a restroom labeled Women; a bathroom labeled Men; and a room labeled Apartment for a staff member. The fourth drawing (D) shows the basement, including: corridors; closets. a potter's studio; a room labeled Faculty; a garage; an area labeled Maintenance; an area labeled Mechanical; and an outdoor patio.

"McGaughan & Johnson, Architects & Planners. 29 August 1972." Scale 1/10 in to 1 ft. Ten technical drawings are stapled together, the first one serving as the cover. The first drawing, labeled Scheme 1, shows: the exterior of the building; the street level; the location of the two garages beneath the building; the existing area; the new door; and the garden elevation. The second drawing shows: the exterior of the building; the rear elevation; a stair tower; retaining wall; the existing building; and the curb line. The third drawing shows the cellar, including: the mechanical area; the storage area; the garage; the staircase; a ramp; and the driveway leading to the garage. The fourth drawing shows the first floor, including: two offices; a lounge; a drafting room; closets; and the staircase. The fifth drawing shows the second floor, including: a conference room; the stair hall and staircase; a work room; a library; terraces and retaining walls; and the exterior driveway. The sixth drawing shows the third floor with three drafting rooms, a teacher's room, and the staircase. The seventh drawing shows the fifth floor, including: a studio; a kitchen; a living room; a bedroom; a dressing area; a terrace; and the staircase. The eighth drawing shows the exterior of the building and the ground line. The ninth drawing is identified as a diagram of the existing space and shows its relation to the street, and the location of the retaining wall and terrace. The tenth drawing is referred to as a space diagram.

"Date: May 13 1969" "Fireproofing back stair well at 2200 R Street, N.W." Scale 1/4 in. to 1 ft. Four technical drawings are stapled together, the first one also serving as the cover, showing floor plans of the main floor, second floor, third floor, and basement, in that order. The main floor consists of four drafting rooms, and the sheet also gives the title and design information. In addition, the right hand side has directives as to when and how the modifications are to be made. The second floor consists of two drafting rooms, rest rooms, a store room, and the location of a new door to be installed. The floor plan for the third floor shows the location of rest rooms, where a new door is to be installed, and the partitions that are to be removed. The floor plan for the basement shows the recreation room, furnace, maintenance area, garage, stairways, and the alley at the side of the building.
Ionic volute
Stamped seal on lower left corner reads: Syracuse University, College of Fine Arts, Department of Architecture. Date stamped on bottom left corner of drawing reads: April 17, 1928. "Plate V." Size of drawing laminated: 57 x 44. Drawings of Ionic volutes using Vignola's method and Goldman's method. The two different methods are described in detail next to the corresponding drawing.
Isometric drawing of a one-story house
Copies 1-7. This drawing shows the rooms and furniture placement of a one-story home and a part of the exterior of the front and left side of the building. The rooms consist of a kitchen, dining room, living room, den, two bedrooms, and a sitting room. The dining room has a dining table, chairs, side table or bureau, and two windows with curtains. The den is mall with a sofa, chair, stool or low table, and a window with curtains. The first bedroom has a double or queen size bed with a night table on either side, a couple of chairs, outlines showing where dressers might be placed, and a window with curtains. The second bedroom has a small room attached to it with an upholstered stool in the center of it, probably a sitting room or dressing room. The bedroom itself has a double or queen size bed with a night table on either side, a couple of chairs, a day bed, and two windows with curtains., C1-C7
Italian Baroque Golden Gallery of the Opera of Lorenzo de Ferrari M. Mathews
The watercolor shows two walls looking into the corner where they meet. The left wall has a wall mirror with a settee under it, a full length window with sheet draperies on it, and a chair that does into the corner. The right wall has a chair, set of double doors, wall mirror with a small table under it, and a second set of double doors. The upholstery on the furniture is deep mauve, and there is a pattern in the flooring.
